This case study is an introduction of one seismic isolation residential building at Taipei Seismic Zone two.  The isolation layer is located in ground floor.  18 high-damping rubber bearing supports and 6 mega oil Dampers are used for the isolation system.
Except the introduction of the design and analysis of the isolation system, the drop-down elevator framing system, the damping system and the relevant design detail are also included.
