The SS and SRC structures were widely used after the devastating Chi-Chi 921 Earthquake in Taiwan.  The seismic performance of the main structural system was upgraded.  However, the attached façade walls, partitions are not integrated for the seismic behavior.  Many buildings were still constructed with RC exterior walls.  These non-structural walls will be easily cracked during the movement of the building subject to the moderate seismic activities.  The water leakage will then become serious problems of the building.  This study shows the current construction types and provides connection details for reference.
